This took longer than I expected for various reasons, but I’m very happy to finally announce that the Cinemover Plus is finally available for general purchase. The Plus uses the same architecture at the standard model, but upgrades some of the hardware to add to the user experience. Is it “better” than the standard model? Well, that’s up for debate. I will say that the Plus uses the parts that I use on my personal Cinemover. It’s a couple small tweaks that make the user experience just a little better. Most notably those heavy, hardened steel adjustment knobs. Use them once and you’ll never want to use a wing nut again. So this is not a reinvention so much as a polishing of the edges. It includes the stuff I tried personally and liked, but felt were too much of a luxury to include on the standard model.
